On September 17, the Minister of Emergency Situations of Russia Evgeny Zinichev held an off-site coordination meeting in Krasnodar on issues of fire safety in the region. Together with the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev, the head of the department discussed the organization of extinguishing forest fires on the lands of specially protected natural areas, as well as the implementation of forestry and fire-fighting measures.
