For the right to be called the strongest, the teams of fire and rescue units of St. Petersburg, Moscow, the Leningrad and Chelyabinsk regions, the republics of Karelia, as well as teams from Finland and Germany, fought.

20 сентября завершились 41-е соревнования среди подразделений газодымозащитной службы на приз им. В.В. Дехтерева в Санкт-Петербурге. За право называться сильнейшими боролись команды пожарно-спасательных подразделений Санкт-Петербурга, Москвы, Ленинградской и Челябинской областей, республик Карелия, а также команды из Финляндии и Германии.
