Strengthening the grouping in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts by the EMERCOM of Russia and the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation units allowed eliminating natural fires in more than a million hectares in a week. All natural fires in specially protected areas are eliminated. Thus, the total area of fires since July 30 has decreased by 25%.

Усиление группировки в Сибирском и Дальневосточном федеральных округах подразделениями МЧС России и Министерства обороны РФ позволило за неделю ликвидировать природные пожары на территории более миллиона гектаров. Ликвидированы все природные пожары на особо охраняемых территориях. Таким образом, общая площадь пожаров с 30 июля сократилась на 25%.
