On June 8, a message was received by the Southern Search and Rescue Squad of the EMERCOM of Russia that when a woman descended from Sakharnaya Mountain in Sochi, the woman felt bad in the tourist group. For more than 15 hours in a row, she was tormented by severe weakness and concomitant signs of mountain sickness. The distance to the nearest settlement was about 9 kilometers on foot along a mountain trail.

8 июня в Южный поисково-спасательный отряд МЧС России поступило сообщение, что при спуске с горы Сахарная города Сочи в туристической группе почувствовала себя плохо женщина. Более 15 часов подряд ее мучили сильная слабость и сопутствующие признаки горной болезни. До ближайшего населенного пункта расстояние составляло около 9 километров пешком по горной тропе.
