St. Petersburg police establish the circumstances of a major skirmish, arranged on the night of September 21 in the center of St. Petersburg.

“At about 00.40 the police received two phone calls about the shooting in the area of Dumskaya and Sadovaya streets. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reported that a man with a leg wound, "allegedly arising after firing from a traumatic or pneumatic weapon," sought medical help.
According to the results of the preliminary inspection, a criminal case was initiated under article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism). “A set of operational-search measures is underway to identify the parties to the conflict and measures are being taken to detain them,” the police added.
Earlier on the Internet, a video of the incident appeared. It shows how groups of people run along the sidewalks, events are accompanied by numerous loud shots.
Eyewitnesses say that the shooting, which lasted about five minutes, was arranged by immigrants from the Caucasus. They shot at parked cars. It is also noted that in the area of the city where the incident occurred, there are several clubs and bars.

Выходцы с Кавказа устроили перестрелку в Петербурге
Петербургская полиция устанавливает обстоятельства крупной перестрелки, устроенной в ночь на 21 сентября в центре Санкт-Петербурга.
Как рассказали в ГУ МВД по Петербургу и Ленобласти, информация о стрельбе поступила к ним от очевидцев.
«Около 00.40 в полицию поступили два телефонных звонка о стрельбе в районе улиц Думской и Садовой. Несколько минут спустя в полицию позвонил и автомобилист, который в момент инцидента проезжал там на своей машине. Мужчина сообщил, что неустановленным предметом было разбито боковое стекло в его автомобиле», — рассказали в полицейском ведомстве.
В МВД также сообщили, что за медицинской помощью обратился мужчина с ранением ноги, «предположительно, возникшим после стрельбы из травматического или пневматического оружия».
По результатам предварительной проверки возбуждено уголовное дело по статье 213 УК РФ (хулиганство). «Проводится комплекс оперативно-розыскных мероприятий по установлению участников конфликта и принимаются меры к их задержанию», — добавили в полиции.
Ранее в Интернете появилась видеозапись инцидента. На ней видно, как группы людей бегут по тротуарам, события сопровождаются многочисленными громкими выстрелами.
Очевидцы рассказывают, что стрельбу, которая продолжалась около пяти минут, устроили выходцы с Кавказа. Стреляли они по припаркованным автомобилям. Отмечается также, что в районе города, где произошел инцидент, расположено несколько клубов и баров.
