Four sites blocked for disseminating “extremist socially dangerous information that poses a threat to society and the individual”

The first four sites have been blocked for extremist content, spokesman for Roskomnadzor Vadim Ampelonsky said on Saturday.
“At the request of the Deputy Prosecutor General, Roskomnadzor ensured the blocking of the first four Internet resources. Blocked sites disseminated extremist socially dangerous information that posed a threat to society and the individual, ”said Ampelonsky.
He specified that one of the Internet pages with illegal information was located on the Livejournal.com resource. The resource was entered into a single register of illegal information for sending to unloading to telecom operators. The administration of the resource as soon as possible deleted the blog with illegal information. “After the inspection, the employees of Roskomnadzor sent a notification to the LiveJournal administration about the removal of illegal content and the resource was excluded from the registry,” Ampelonsky explained.
He recalled that the blocking of the site was carried out in accordance with the amendments to the law "On Information, Information Technologies and the Protection of Information", which entered into force on today.
According to the text of the law, the prosecutor general and his deputies are authorized to apply to Roskomnadzor with a statement on taking measures to restrict access to information resources that spread calls for riots, extremist activities and participation in public events.
Such a procedure can be initiated by the prosecutor general and his deputies on the basis of Internet monitoring, as well as notifications received from authorities, organizations and citizens.
After receiving the requirements of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Roskomnadzor will send communications operators to restrict access to the resource or illegal information posted on it. Upon receipt of this requirement, telecom operators are required to comply with it immediately.
Access will be resumed after Roskomnadzor receives from the site owner or hosting provider a message stating that the illegal information has been deleted, and will verify this.

За распространение «экстремистской социально опасной информации, представляющей угрозу для общества и личности» заблокированы четыре сайта

Заблокированы первые четыре сайта за экстремистский контент, сообщил пресс-секретарь Роскомнадзора Вадим Ампелонский в субботу.
«По требованию заместителя генерального прокурора Роскомнадзор обеспечил блокировку первых четырех интернет-ресурсов. Заблокированные сайты распространяли экстремистскую социально опасную информацию, представляющую угрозу для общества и личности», — сказал Ампелонский.
Он уточнил, что одна из интернет-страниц с противозаконной информацией располагалась на ресурсе Livejournal.сom. Ресурс был внесен в единый реестр противоправной информации для направления на выгрузку операторам связи. Администрация ресурса в кратчайшие сроки удалила блог с противоправной информацией. «После проверки сотрудниками Роскомнадзора было направлено уведомление администрации “Живого журнала” об удалении незаконного контента и ресурс был исключен из реестра», — объяснил Ампелонский.
Он напомнил, что блокировка сайта была проведена согласно поправкам к закону «Об информации, информационных технологиях и о защите информации», вступившим в силу с сегодняшнего дня.
Согласно тексту закона, генпрокурор и его заместители уполномочены обращаться в Роскомнадзор с заявлением о принятии мер по ограничению доступа к информационным ресурсам, распространяющим призывы к массовым беспорядкам, осуществлению экстремистской деятельности и участию в массовых публичных мероприятиях.
Такая процедура может быть инициирована генпрокурором и его замами на основании мониторинга интернета, а также полученных от органов власти, организаций и граждан уведомлений.
После получения требований Генпрокуратуры Роскомнадзор будет направлять операторам связи требования об ограничении доступа к ресурсу или к размещенной на нем противозаконной информации. Операторы связи после получения этого требования обязаны выполнить его незамедлительно.
Доступ будет возобновлен после того, как Роскомнадзор получит от владельца сайта или хостинг-провайдера сообщение о том, что незаконная информация удалена, и удостоверится в этом.
