The head of the EMERCOM of Russia Evgeny Zinichev held an extraordinary meeting of the Government Commission on the prevention and elimination of emergency situations and ensuring fire safety.

The meeting was devoted to the discussion of measures taken to extinguish forest fires in the Siberian and Far Eastern federal districts. The event was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Rosleskhoz, Ministry of Transport, Roshydromet, Rossvyaz, Rosstandart, regional leaders.
