The official website of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has stopped working. As reported on the "Low Orbit Ion Cannon" twitter account, the site was the victim of a DDoS attack.
The start of the attack on Lukashenko’s website was announced via Twitter on June 10, 2011. Since that time, pressing the red button on the site of the "low-orbit ion gun" led to the launch of a script that began a series of calls to the site president.gov.by in order to disable it due to the large number of visits.
The creators of the attack explained the desire to bring down the site of the Belarusian president by the fact that Lukashenko "scammed such a country!"
On June 13, at about 3:00 p.m. Moscow time, the anonymous creators of the "ion cannon" reported on their goals. As of 17:30 on June 13, the website of the President of Belarus did not open, subsequently he earned, but intermittently.

Официальный сайт президента Белоруссии Александра Лукашенко прекратил работу. Как сообщается в "твиттере" проекта "Низкоорбитальная ионная пушка", сайт стал жертвой DDoS-атаки.
О начале атаки на сайт Лукашенко было объявлено через Twitter 10 июня 2011 года.
