The police detained an employee of the Federal Security Service (FSO), who opened fire with a Luger pistol, in a clinic in the Ramensky district of the Moscow Region, a representative of the information department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region said.
According to him, at about 9:00 a message was received from the police nurse of the clinic in the village of Udelnaya about the fact that a patient came to the institution with a gun that shot him at the floor.
"Upon arrival at the place, the police detained a 40-year-old resident of the village of Udelnaya in the Ramensky district, who was carrying a Luger pistol with him ... He didn’t have any documents on his weapons," the source told RIA Novosti .
He specified that, according to preliminary data, the detainee is an employee of the FSO.
On this fact, the issue of initiating a criminal case is being decided. Field investigators collect materials on the incident, which will be transferred to the military prosecutor’s office, the head office said.
According to law enforcement agencies, this is the second incident in the Moscow region related to FSO officers who used firearms in places of mass presence of people.

Полиция задержала в поликлинике в Раменском районе Подмосковья сотрудника Федеральной службы охраны (ФСО), открывшего стрельбу из пистолета Luger, сообщил представитель управления информации ГУ МВД РФ по Московской области.
По его словам, около 9.00 в дежурную часть милиции поступило сообщение от медицинской сестры поликлиники в поселке Удельная о том, что в заведение пришел пациент с пистолетом, который выстрелил из него в пол.
"По прибытии на место полицейские задержали в состоянии алкогольного опьянения 40-летнего жителя поселка Удельная Раменского района, у которого при себе находился пистолет марки Luger... Каких-либо документов на оружие задержанный при себе не имел", - сказал собеседник агентства РИА Новости.
Он уточнил, что, по предварительным данным, задержанный является сотрудником ФСО.
По данному факту решается вопрос о возбуждении уголовного дела. Оперативники собирают материалы по происшествию, которые передадут в военную прокуратуру, сказали в главке.
По данным правоохранительных органов, это второй инцидент в Московском регионе, связанный с сотрудниками ФСО, которые использовали огнестрельное оружие в местах массового пребывания людей.
Так, в прошедший понедельник в полицию Москвы обратились граждане, которые сообщили о стрельбе на Суздальской улице. Прибывшие на место сотрудники правоохранительных органов задержали сотрудника ФСО РФ и еще одного мужчину 1984 года рождения.
По данным источника, работник спецслужбы начал стрелять из травматического оружия после ссоры с четырьмя молодыми людьми. В результате инцидента впоследствии в больницу обратились трое пострадавших.
По данному факту материалы также переданы в военную прокуратуру
