The case of the three-time world champion in mixed martial arts according to the MMA version of 25-year-old Rasul Mirzaev, who killed 19-year-old student Ivan Agafonov with one blow, was widely discussed in the Russian media. A similar story happened the other day in Saratov, writes the local Komsomolskaya Pravda. 20-year-old professional kickboxer Alexander Khromov, in order to demonstrate acquaintance to his acquaintances, knocked out a passerby who died from his injuries in a local hospital with one blow.
According to the investigation, A. Khromov and his friend were returning home from a disco. On the way, witnesses say, he made stinging jokes and insults at random oncoming people, trying to attract the attention of the girl. The young man’s friends made an unforgivable mistake: they told A. Khromov that he “is only able to grind with his tongue, and loses the last competition all the time”. The girl supported the joke, and the athlete decided to prove the opposite.
He called on a 50-year-old man of an intelligent appearance, Viktor Seleznev (according to other sources, Levitsky), who was returning home from his guests, asked a question, after which he dealt a severe blow to his face. The man fell, hitting his head on the ground. Neighbors of the victim who watched the incident from the windows of the house immediately called the police and an ambulance. V. Seleznev was hospitalized, doctors recorded a traumatic brain injury in the victim. A few days later, the man died.
Now, a criminal case has been instituted against A. Khromov under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional harm resulting in the death of a person). The athlete faces up to 15 years in prison. During the interrogation, the athlete stated that V. Seleznev looked askance at his girlfriend.

Аналогичная история произошла на днях в Саратове, пишет местная "Комсомольская правда". 20-летний кикбоксер-профессионал Александр Хромов, дабы продемонстрировать знакомым свою удаль, одним ударом отправил в нокаут прохожего, который скончался от полученных травм в местной больнице.
По данным следствия, А.Хромов вместе с приятелем возвращался домой с дискотеки. По дороге, рассказывают свидетели, он отпускал язвительные шутки и оскорбления в адрес случайных встречных, стараясь обратить на себя внимание девушки. Друзья молодого человека допустили непростительную ошибку: они заявили А.Хромову, что он "способен только языком молоть, а последние соревнования все время проигрывает". Девушка поддержала шутку, и спортсмен решил доказать обратное.
Он подозвал 50-летнего мужчину интеллигентного вида Виктора Селезнева (по другим данным - Левицкого), возвращавшегося домой из гостей, задал какой-то вопрос, после чего нанес сильный удар по лицу. Мужчина упал, ударившись головой о землю. Соседи пострадавшего, наблюдавшие за инцидентом из окон дома, сразу вызвали полицию и скорую. В.Селезнева госпитализировали, врачи зафиксировали у потерпевшего черепно-мозговую травму. Спустя несколько дней мужчина скончался.
Теперь против А.Хромова возбуждено уголовное дело по ст.111 УК РФ (умышленное причинение вреда, повлекшее смерть человека). Спортсмену грозит до 15 лет лишения свободы. На допросе спортсмен заявил, что В.Селезнев косо посмотрел на его девушку.
