The Moscow Central Internal Affairs Directorate warns all car owners that a gang of car hijackers has started operating in the capital, working according to a completely new scheme, RBC reports. It all starts with the fact that the owner of the car, which is under warranty, is phoned ostensibly from a service center and invited to the service station to carry out any warranty work.
When the owner arrives at the dealership at the appointed time, he is met at the gate by a person who appears to be a "master". He immediately writes out an order-outfit, issues a receipt for the receipt of the car and picks up the keys. As a matter of fact, that’s all - the car was stolen.
According to detectives, in Moscow there have already been several thefts under this scheme. To protect yourself from such hijackings, it is enough after receiving a call from a certain "master" just to call back to the service center. And in no case should you give the car on the street to strangers, even if they appear to be “masters” and write you some pieces of paper.

ГУВД Москвы предупреждает всех владельцев машин – в столице начала действовать банда угонщиков автомобилей, которые работают по совершенно новой схеме, передает РБК. Начинается все с того, что обладателю машины, которая находится на гарантии, звонят по телефону якобы из сервисного центра и приглашают на СТО для проведения тех или иных гарантийных работ.
Когда владелец приезжает в назначенное время в дилерский центр его встречает у ворот человек, который представляется «мастером». Он тут же выписывает заказ-наряд, выдает расписку в получении автомобиля и забирает ключи. Собственно говоря, вот и все – автомобиль угнан.
По словам сыщиков, в Москве произошло уже несколько краж по такой схеме. Чтобы обезопасить себя от подобных угонов, достаточно после получения звонка от некоего «мастера» просто перезвонить в сервис-центр. И ни в коем случае не отдавать автомобиль на улице незнакомым людям, даже если они и представляются «мастерами» и выписывают вам какие-то бумажки.
