More than half of Russians did not remember the election promises of Vladimir Putin, recognized by the CEC as the winner of the March presidential elections in the first round, according to a survey by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).
With the answer to the question of sociologists "Which of Putin's promises during the election campaign did you remember?" 52% of respondents found it difficult. 12% remembered the promise to increase pensions and not raise retirement age, 8% - to increase defense, 5% - to develop the social sphere, 4% - to increase public sector wages and housing affordability, 3% - to fight corruption more effectively, develop the economy, maintain stability and sustainable development of the country and develop industry and agriculture.
The survey was conducted on February 25-26, 2012 among 1,600 people in 138 settlements. The statistical error does not exceed 3.4%.
