Whip or gingerbread. Scammers are looking for an approach to a person through greed or fear. In case of greed, for example, you are promised a large payment from the state. In the second, they promise problems: they threaten to send out videos to everyone they know, or destroy the reputation of the site or company.
Timed task. People lose their critical thinking in a hurry. Fraudsters also use this. They often set tight deadlines for meeting their requirements. For example, they say that in a couple of days or hours a large amount of money will simply burn out.
Sloppy decor. Pay attention if the received letter is written with obvious errors. Fraudsters can misspell words, change letters to similar numbers and characters from other alphabets so that spam filters of mail servers do not suspect that something is wrong with the letter.
We are looking for your payment in the database. When people go to a fraudulent site, the first thing they start to get involved is by offering them to complete a series of simple tasks. Sometimes you need to take a survey or choose one of the boxes supposedly with prizes several times. Quite often - look at the fake animation of searching for some databases and fill out a questionnaire. The goal is to get a person to invest time and effort, so that it would be a pity to close the site.
Small commission. After the victim has been "led" to a fictitious story and walked along the paved path almost to the end of the scheme, she is asked to pay a commission, make a transfer to verify the card, or pay for registration in a certain database. Most often, we are talking about a relatively small amount that pales before the opportunity to get rich by tens or hundreds of thousands, or even millions of rubles. After payment, of course you will receive nothing.
