Глава МВД не считает необходимым создание в следственном комитете специального органа, расследующего преступления полицейских. «Наши подразделения собственной безопасности выявляют каждое второе преступление или должностной проступок, 80% фактов дачи взяток», — сказал Рашид Нургалиев.
Министр обратил внимание депутатов на то, что полиция отказалась от так называемой «палочной системы». «Я официально могу сказать, что в МВД нет такого приказа, который бы ориентировал оценку работы на количественные показатели, мы давно пересмотрели порядок получения оценки своей деятельности», — отметил министр. Он пообещал, что деятельность полицейских станет более открытой для граждан.

Гудков подчеркнул, что у депутатов нет претензий лично к Нургалиеву, однако на министре лежит персональная ответственность за «полный провал» реформы органов внутренних дел, который подорвал авторитет не только полиции, но и органов власти в целом.
