Police officers revealed fraud in the field of motor third party liability insurance

Employees of the Office of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Novosibirsk Region revealed the fact of major fraud in the field of motor third party liability insurance. The investigators found out that a Novosibirsk resident, 31 years old, had submitted documents to the insurance company testifying to a traffic accident involving his BMW X5 car. According to the submitted documents, the damage from the accident amounted to 504 thousand rubles, which the car owner intended to receive as an insurance payment. During the verification of these documents, police officers found out that a certificate of an accident and a copy of the decision to refuse to initiate an administrative case were fake. The traffic police inspector, who allegedly signed them, as it turned out, does not exist at all - the scammer simply came up with the name, surname and title. As a result, instead of half a million rubles, a citizen received a criminal case. He is accused of fraud (Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and forgery of documents (Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Now the case is being investigated in the police department No. 1 “Central” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Novosibirsk, while the UEBiPK officers are taking operational measures to identify other facts of criminal activity of the person involved and possible accomplices.

Сотрудники полиции выявили факт мошенничества в сфере страхования автогражданской ответственности

Сотрудники Управления экономической безопасности и противодействия коррупции ГУ МВД России по Новосибирской области выявили факт крупного мошенничества в сфере страхования автогражданской ответственности. Оперативники выяснили, что житель Новосибирска 31 года предоставил в страховую компанию документы, свидетельствующие о якобы имевшем место дорожно-транспортном происшествии с участием его автомобиля «BMW X5». Согласно поданным документам, ущерб от ДТП составил 504 тысячи рублей, которые автовладелец намеревался получить в качестве страховой выплаты. В ходе проверки данных документов сотрудники полиции выяснили, что справка о ДТП и копия определения об отказе в возбуждении дела об административном правонарушении – поддельные. Инспектора ГИБДД, который якобы подписал их, как оказалось, вообще не существует – имя, фамилию и звание аферист просто придумал. В результате вместо полумиллиона рублей гражданин получил уголовное дело. Его обвиняют в мошенничестве (ст. 159 УК РФ) и подделке документов (ст. 327 УК РФ). Сейчас дело расследуется в отделе полиции №1 «Центральный» УМВД России по г. Новосибирску, параллельно сотрудники УЭБиПК проводят оперативные мероприятия по выявлению иных фактов преступной деятельности фигуранта и возможных соучастников.
