One should not be afraid of Chinese investments, one must fight for them, an official of the government apparatus laughs: the world is in a sluggish crisis, there is little trust in the market, and they have money. Any structure - a state corporation or a fund - will create conditions for attracting investors to the Far East, including Chinese. And protection from Chinese expansion is a matter of proper state regulation, he is sure.
Commodity projects are what Chinese investors are primarily interested in, says BCS Senior Analyst Dmitry Surov. An additional incentive is the benefits that investors in Siberian and Far Eastern projects will receive, he believes: the Development Corporation of Siberia and the Far East (see page 03) will be exempted for 10 years from federal taxes on profit, mining and water and for five years - from regional: property, land and transport.

Чиновники считают, что экспансии Китая бояться не стоит.
В субботу на российско-китайском форуме в Москве подписано 27 соглашений между российскими и китайскими компаниями — на $15 млрд (см. врез). Самые крупные проекты связаны с Сибирью и Дальним Востоком.
Китайских инвестиций надо не бояться, за них надо бороться, смеется чиновник аппарата правительства: в мире вялый кризис, на рынке мало доверия, а у них есть деньги. Любая структура — госкорпорация или фонд — будет создавать условия для привлечения инвесторов на Дальний Восток, в том числе китайских. А защита от китайской экспансии — это вопрос правильного госрегулирования, уверен он.
Сырьевые проекты — то, в чем в первую очередь заинтересованы китайские инвесторы, уверен старший аналитик БКС Дмитрий Суров. Дополнительный стимул — льготы, которые получат инвесторы в сибирские и дальневосточные проекты, считает он: корпорация развития Сибири и Дальнего Востока (см. стр. 03) будет освобождена на 10 лет от федеральных налогов на прибыль, добычу полезных ископаемых и водного и на пять лет — от региональных: на имущество, землю и транспорт.
