По информации от СБУ, была разработана оперативная игра для установки и задержания подозреваемых лиц.
«В ходе операции, СБУ и МВД вышли на след подозреваемых, после этого подозреваемые начали слать сообщения через интернет и смс. Террористы требовали 4.5 млн. долларов и угрожали повторными взрывами в Днепропетровске. Подозреваемые требовали перевода денег на карточки. Которые должны были быть выброшены с поезда в лесополосе», - сообщил глава СБУ Игорь Калинин.
«После того, как подозреваемые получили карточки с деньгами, им дали возможность снять небольшую сумму, чтобы удостоверится. 29 мая от подозреваемых пришло новое сообщение об угрозах взрывов на детских площадках, после этого было принято решение о задержании. Все задержанные – жители Днепропетровска возрастом до 40 лет, один из задержанных имел отношение к научной деятельности», - сообщил глава СБУ.
