Earlier in the afternoon, the suspects stopped a car enthusiast for crossing a double continuous strip and offered the offender to hush up the case for 30 thousand rubles. He didn’t have that kind of money with him, and leaving the documents as collateral, he set off to get the necessary amount, while reporting extortion to the police.
Around eight in the evening, the motorist came to meet with traffic inspectors and got into their company car. At some point, the suspects realized that they were being monitored, and the inspector at the wheel pressed the gas, ramming the bribe taker’s car and his own security services, not equipped with special signals and not marked with special paint.
The suspect, who was in the applicant's company car, was thrown out onto the street, slowing down. The man received an abrasion on his head, but refused hospitalization.
While the CSS staff assisted the motorist, the suspects turned on the siren and emergency lights and broke away from the chase. According to Fontanka, they also turned off the Arkan tracking system installed on a company car, which allows the duty unit to keep abreast of the location of patrol crews.
The leadership of the St. Petersburg police was informed about the incident, and after about an hour the fugitives were detained by police officers of the Moscow region. The suspects - two senior lieutenants - are being interrogated by investigators.

В Петербурге после часовой погони задержаны члены экипажа ДПС ГИБДД, подозреваемые в получении взятки. Полицейские пытались оторваться от своих коллег из службы внутренней безопасности, включив сирену и проблесковые маячки, сообщает ГУ МВД по Санкт-Петербургу и Ленинградской области.
Инцидент произошел вечером 5 июня во время передачи взятки под контролем УСБ. Ранее днем подозреваемые остановили автолюбителя за пересечение двойной сплошной полосы и предложили нарушителю замять дело за 30 тысяч рублей. У него таких денег с собой не оказалось, и он, оставив в залог документы, отправился добывать нужную сумму, сообщив при этом о вымогательстве в полицию.
Около восьми вечера автолюбитель приехал на встречу с автоинспекторами и сел к ним в служебный автомобиль. В какой-то момент подозреваемые поняли, что находятся под наблюдением, и находившийся за рулем инспектор нажал на газ, протаранив машину взяткодателя и автомобили службы собственной безопасности, не оборудованные спецсигналами и не обозначенные спецраскраской.
Находившегося в служебной машине заявителя подозреваемый выбросили на улицу, снизив скорость. Мужчина получил ссадину на голове, но отказался от госпитализации.
Пока сотрудники УСБ оказывали помощь автолюбителю, подозреваемые включили сирену и мигалки и оторвались от погони. Как пишет "Фонтанка", они также отключили систему слежения "Аркан", установленную на служебной машине, которая позволяет дежурной части быть в курсе местонахождения патрульных экипажей.
О происшествии было проинформировано руководство петербургской полиции, и примерно через час беглецы были задержаны нарядами полиции Московского района. Подозреваемых - двух старших лейтенантов - допрашивают следователи.
