Во вторник Следственное управление СКР по Петербургу объявило о возбуждении уголовного дела в отношении полковника Алексея Серединина — начальника контрольно-ревизионного управления (КРУ) ГУ МВД России по Санкт-Петербургу и Ленинградской области. Дело возбуждено по статье «Получение взятки должностным лицом в особо крупном размере».
Преступление, в котором подозревают Серединина, было совершено в 2010–2011 годах. До сентября 2010 года Серединин был заместителем начальника управления по налоговым преступлениям ГУВД Петербурга. Начальником являлся Василий Умнов. Однако Умнова назначили начальником УВД города Сочи. В октябре 2010 года его место занял Серединин. И через месяц, по данным следствия, он решил воспользоваться финансовым спором между двумя компаниями для пополнения личного бюджета. [...]

Офицер вышел на руководство торговой сети и предложил ему «общее покровительство» — защиту от кредиторов компании. «Что касается Серединина, то он находится в больнице, — сообщил «Газете.Ru» представитель следственного управления Сергей Капитонов. — Поэтому вопрос о его задержании будет решаться после оценки состояния его здоровья». О том, что случилось с Середининым в медицинском плане, следователи пока не говорят. Источник в полиции сказал «Газете.Ru», что пока врачи не сделали никаких выводов, произошло ли что-то серьезное.
Полицейские уже выступили с официальным заявлением по поводу возбуждения уголовного дела против своего сотрудника.
Они заявили, что сами взяли Серединина «в разработку».

Результаты оперативно-разыскной деятельности были переданы в ГСУ СК РФ по Санкт-Петербургу для принятия процессуального решения».
Сообщается также, что в отношении Алексея Серединина проводится служебная проверка, «по результатам которой будет принято решение об увольнении его из органов внутренних дел».
Отметим, что преступления, в которых сейчас подозревают Серединина, произошли ровно в те месяцы, когда в петербургском ГУВД шла переаттестация. Серединин ее благополучно прошел. Источник «Газеты.Ru» в правоохранительных органах не смог пояснить, будут ли приняты какие-либо меры к тому, кто аттестовал Серединина, который, как вдруг выясняется, брал огромнейшие взятки под носом у своего начальства.
«Там были четко прописаны обстоятельства, при которых человек не мог пройти переаттестацию, — сказал собеседник. — Даже если в отношении Середина велись оперативно-разыскные мероприятия, это не могло быть причиной не аттестовать его. Статуса подозреваемого у него не было, уголовное дело против него не было возбуждено».
