if you bought it from scammers
In a good, long-established tradition, at least every six months we meet with the head of the detective agency General Investigations Services, private detective Steve Dudnik. This person may not be presented to readers of Florida. For more than 7 years, the largest Russian-speaking detective bureau in the south of the country, led by Steve, has investigated dozens of various complexity cases - from simple ones like, say, tracking unscrupulous servants to unraveling financial frauds.
- Steve, as far as we know, there have been frequent cases recently when our former compatriots who came from the CIS countries find themselves in rather unpleasant situations when they have to turn to the help of the police, lawyers and even the prosecutor's office.
- Unfortunately, I must admit that there have been more and more such cases lately. This does not mean that we have more crooks, just, our wonderful staff attracts more and more tourists from Europe, including from Russia and other former republics of the Union. Many of them have money and want to invest it in business. I know dozens of quite successful businessmen from Moscow, the Urals and Siberia who have opened their own companies in South Florida and fit into our realities without any problems, earn money, live happily and happily, as it should live in our joyful and happy state. I say this with confidence, since many recently arrived businessmen passed through my office, I helped them with some legal and even practical everyday issues. Unfortunately, as sung in the famous song, some people “sometimes do not want to live honestly here and there”, and these dishonest people, and simply speaking, crooks of different stripes, cause serious damage to the image of our state.
You shouldn’t go far for examples; I’m conducting a similar case right now, which can become a very vivid example of how new businessmen are “bred” for money. My client, Kirill K., has been successfully conducting business in the Far East for many years, he bought cars in Japan and brought them to Russia. Cyril planned to do similar business in Miami. He is an experienced, knowledgeable and competent businessman, but without a language and without knowledge of the basic laws of business in America, he was drawn into a scam, as a result of which he lost about one hundred thousand dollars. By chance, on a Russian plaza, he met a Russian-speaking resident of Miami, who, having learned that Cyril wants to send expensive cars to Russia, introduced himself as a dealer, a specialist in the sale of cars. He and his accomplice even showed my client documents for a Nader Auto Brokers car company (when I started the investigation, it turned out that the company had been gone for a long time). Having tricked my client into deceiving money and not fulfilling his promises, the scammers tried to put the case as if Kirill himself was to blame. However, an analysis of the situation showed that my client was not the first to be tricked by auto-pickers, and now in Miami Dade an investigation of their activities is in full swing. Moreover, through my channels I have attracted the FBI and the Prosecutor General’s Office to this case, swindlers should not escape punishment!
However, I want to warn everyone who starts a business: be careful and prudent before entrusting money to strangers. It’s better if you first contact us, and through all the channels we have, we’ll check whether we can deal with them. Seven years of excellent work and dozens of complicated tasks are the best confirmation of our reputation in the Russian community. The main thing is never to complicate the situation, a question arose, call, we are always ready to help and figure it out.

По доброй, давно устоявшейся традиции не реже чем раз в полгода мы встречаемся с руководителем детективного агентства General Investigations Services, частным детективом Стивом Дудником. Я знаю десятки вполне успешных бизнесменов из Москвы, Урала и Сибири, которые открыли в Южной Флориде свои компании и без всяких проблем вписываются в наши реалии, зарабатывают деньги, живут радостно и счастливо, как и полагается жить в нашем радостном и счастливом штате. Говорю это уверенно, поскольку многие недавно прибывшие бизнесмены прошли через мой офис, я помогал им в каких-то юридических и даже в практических житейских вопросах. К сожалению, как пелось в известной песне, кое-кто и «кое-где у нас порой честно жить не хочет», и эти бесчестные люди, а попросту говоря, проходимцы разных мастей, наносят имиджу нашего штата серьезный урон.
Далеко за примерами ходить не стоит, я как раз сейчас веду подобное дело, которое может стать очень ярким образцом того, как «разводят» на деньги вновь прибывших бизнесменов. Мой клиент Кирилл К. успешно много лет вел бизнес на Дальнем Востоке, покупал в Японии автомобили и привозил их в Россию. Подобным бизнесом Кирилл планировал заняться и в Майами. Он опытный, знающий и грамотный бизнесмен, однако без языка и без знаний основных законов бизнеса в Америке, он оказался втянутым в аферу, в результате которой потерял около ста тысяч долларов. Случайно на Русской плазе он познакомился с русскоязычным жителем Майами, который, узнав, что Кирилл хочет отправлять в Россию дорогие автомобили, представился диллером, специалистом по продаже машин. Он и его подельник даже продемонстрировали моему клиенту документы на компанию по продаже автомобилей Nader Auto Brokers ( когда я начал вести расследование, выяснилось, что компании такой давно уже не существует). Выманив обманным путем у моего клиента деньги и не выполнив своих обещаний, аферисты попытались выставить дело так, будто бы во всем виноват сам Кирилл. Однако анализ ситуации показал, что мой клиент не первый, кого обманули автощипачи, и уже сейчас в Майами Дейд во всю идет расследование их деятельности. Больше того, по своим каналам я привлек к этому делу ФБР и Генеральную прокуратуру, аферисты не должны уйти от наказания!
Однако я хочу предупредить всех, кто начинает бизнес: будьте внимательны и осмотрительны, прежде, чем доверить деньги незнакомым людям. Лучше, если прежде вы обратитесь к нам, и мы по всем имеющимся у нас каналам проверим, можно ли иметь с ними дело. Семь лет безупречной работы и десятки сложнейших дел – лучшее подтверждение нашей репутации в русской общине.
