We live in a single reality. The reality is that around us. And therefore, very often we cannot evaluate what would happen to the country if its leaders made a different decision.

Vladimir Putin has led Russia for over 12 years. What would happen to Russia if another person came to power? We can only guess.
According to the scenario of our geopolitical “partners”, Russia was to be divided. The start of this process was to be laid by the invasion of Basayev’s gangs in Dagestan in the fall of 1999.
The political and military liquidation of Russia was preceded by economic training. The future collapse was laid economically - a little less than a year before the invasion of Dagestan, “suddenly” the GKO market collapsed and the August 1998 default occurred. And shortly before this, the discount rate of the Central Bank of Russia “Suddenly” increased to 150% from May 27, 1998 to June 4, 1998. But it was Putin’s actions in the fall of 1999, multiplied by the heroic struggle of the Dagestan militia and our soldiers with the invading bandits, who preserved the integrity of our country. This must not be forgotten. It was Putin who removed the question of the collapse of Russia from the agenda of Russian politics. Not to say thank you to him for this is the height of ingratitude and disrespect.
Why did I remember this today? Because during a trip to Yekaterinburg, my friends gave me a whole collection of Ural francs. I post their image here.
It seems to me important that all citizens of Russia see and remember this past, which did not become our future. Ural republic with its own currency. With its bicameral parliament, copying the legislature of a separate state, which "accidentally" appeared in the Urals with just two chambers, when the region is enough for one.
There are many such accidents. By the way, the candidates for deputies in the Urals had very characteristic documents, which read “Republic” directly.

Уральские франки — прошлое, которое не стало будущим.

Михаил Горбачев был у власти почти шесть лет. Всего 6 лет. И за это время со своими подельниками угробил сверхдержаву. Так быстро.
Владимир Путин во главе России более 12 лет. Что случилось бы с Россией, приди к власти другой человек? Мы можем лишь догадываться.
По сценарию наших геополитических «партнеров» Россия должна была быть расчленена. Старт этому процессу должен был быть положен вторжением банд Басаева в Дагестан осенью 1999 года.
Политической и военной ликвидации России, предшествовала и экономическая подготовка. Будущий распад закладывался экономически – чуть менее за год до вторжения в Дагестан, «вдруг» рухнул рынок ГКО и случился дефолт августа 1998 года. А незадолго до этого учетная ставка Центрального Банка России «вдруг» увеличилась до 150% в период 27 мая 1998 г. — 4 июня 1998 г. Прямо накануне краха деньги стали особенно дорогими. Случайно? Нет. Это была сознательная подготовка дефолта – обрушения нашей экономики.
Смысл этой акции – создание апатии и безучастности граждан к гибели своей страны. Зачем она такая, где все время все рушится и падает? Отрепетировали этот сценарий еще в СССР. Помните дефицит последних лет перестройки? Он был искусственным. Вагоны не разгружались, с заводов не вывозилась продукция. Продукты выбрасывались на свалки и помойки.
Летом 1989 года я был в стройотряде в городе Ноябрьск. Лично сам видел фрукты и овощи на помойке. Вполне сносного качества, между прочим. На фоне полного отсутствия их на прилавках Ноябрьска.
И СССР не стало. Потому что так хотело руководство СССР.
А Россия сохранилась. И развивается. Конечно, все мы хотим, чтобы развитие шло быстрее. Но именно действия Путина осенью 1999 года, помноженные на героическую борьбу дагестанских ополченцев и наших солдат с вторгшимися бандитами сохранили целостность нашей страны. Это нельзя забывать. Именно Путин снял вопрос распада России с повестки дня российской политики. Не сказать ему за это спасибо – верх неблагодарности и неуважения.
Почему именно сегодня я вспомнил об этом? Потому что во время поездки в Екатеринбург мои друзья подарили мне целую коллекцию уральских франков. Я выкладываю их изображение здесь.
Мне кажется важным, чтобы все граждане России увидели и вспомнили это прошлое, которое не стало нашим будущим. Уральская республика со своей валютой. Со своим двухпалатным парламентом, копирующим законодательный орган отдельного государства, который «случайно» оказался на Урале именно с двумя палатами, когда региону вполне достаточно одной.
Много таких случайностей. Кстати, у кандидатов в депутаты на Урале были весьма характерные документы, где прямо было написано «Республика».

Вот они, признаки и призраки нашего прошлого, несостоявшегося будущего. И нам надо быть внимательными, чтобы это прошлое больше никогда не постучалось в наши двери.
