The unified registry office, which President Vladimir Putin ordered to create on the Internet, will open up great opportunities for citizens, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes.

It will not be necessary to send requests to other regions - any registry office, having checked with a single database, will be able to issue the necessary copy, the publication says.
Also, a single database will help with the execution of the inheritance: for example, if a person comes to draw up a will, a notary will be able to instantly request the registry office a complete list of his relatives, to identify previously unknown relatives and false heirs. And those who are going to tie the knot with the advent of a single base will be able to establish marriage scams and bigamists.
In addition, the new system will enable anyone to instantly compose their family tree in 100 years. Corresponding programs have already been installed in many registry offices, and from a technical point of view there are no problems, the article notes.

Путин в последний день минувшего года подписал закон внес изменения, в соответствии с которым правительству поручено создать единый федеральный информационный ресурс, содержащий в числе прочего сведения о регистрации актов гражданского состояния. Соответствующий законопроект должен быть внесен в Госдуму до 1 мая.
Электронные базы ЗАГС уже созданы во многих регионах, но единой базы данных ЗАГСов по стране нет. Слияние разрозненных и не связанных между собой баз в единую сеть, в частности, облегчит людям процесс восстановления важных документов - свидетельства о рождении, браке и прочих. Не нужно будет посылать запросы в другие регионы - любой ЗАГС, сверившись с единой базой, сможет выдать нужную копию, говорится в публикации.
Также единая база поможет при оформлении наследства: например, если человек приходит оформлять завещание, нотариус сможет мгновенно запросить в ЗАГСе полный список его родственников, выявить неведомую ранее родню и фальшивых наследников.
