I am sure that many of you watched the story of the rise of the aircraft from the bottom of the Neva through the central and regional channels. I am proud that I invested my work in the search for the legendary family and found several grandchildren.

In the Kirov district of the Leningrad region on August 19, 2015, search engines raised a single-seat Il-2 attack aircraft from the bottom of the Neva. The machine was hit by German anti-aircraft guns at an altitude of 600 meters at 16 hours 45 minutes on October 27, 1941 in the Nevsky Piglet area, operational reports of the Leningrad Front Air Force report.

The body of the pilot was recovered a little earlier by the search units "Suvorov" and "St. George." It turned out to be the senior lieutenant of the Navy SEMEN KONOBEVETS. At the time of his death, he was 34 years old.

So, from this moment the search engines turned to us for help to establish and find the relatives of the pilot. According to archival data, it became known that Semen Fedorovich from a family where there were six brothers and two sisters. It seemed to find at least someone did not provide labor. But it only seemed so. The family had a big secret, because of which it was divided for all years. And the grandchildren did not know each other until the moment when Simon was found. We, the 21st century search engines, introduced and connected them. We told them about the composition of the family, about all the brothers about their merits to the country. And they were just huge.

Many were not indifferent to the history of this search. But the leader was Rimma Buranbaeva from Ufa. It was to her that all the data obtained from archives and information obtained by search engines flocked.

The head of the search squads of Bashkiria, Ildar Bikbaev, who participated in the recovery of the aircraft, immediately met with Valentina. She came to a meeting with the words: “What a blessing would be for mom! Here is her diary. ” 93-year-old Anna, who did not live two years until the day she found her brother, wrote: “The family of Fyodor Afanasevich Konobevtsev and Maria Ivanovna Mintseva, railway employees of the Raevka station, had six sons: Ivan, Timofey, Alexei, Semen, Fedor, Akim and two daughters - Alexandra and Anna. Father died in 1927. " All from childhood worked on the railway. There is almost nothing about their future fate in the diary. And Valentine doesn’t know ...


Memoirs also became a starting point. Ildar Bikbaev turned to the search engines, commanders of the Kolomna Suvorov detachment Olga Struzhanova and St. Petersburg detachment Saint George Oleg Alekseev, who found the plane and the remains of the pilot, and asked him not to rush to the grave: “We are countrymen of the pilot, we will look for relatives.”

In the Central Naval Archive in Gatchina, Bikbaev studied the combat route of Semyon Konobevtsev: a pilot instructor in the Pacific Ocean, the Baltic Fleet. In fierce air battles in September-October 1941 he defended the approaches to Leningrad - Kirishi, Budogoshch ...


From the award sheet: “Flying almost always leads a group or link, Art. "Konobevtsev proved himself to be a courageous, tactically competent commander, a pilot, from the actions of which the enemy suffers great losses, both in technology and manpower." "Presented for the Order of the Red Banner." Note: presented, but not awarded, since the plane of Semyon came under enemy antiaircraft fire and fell into the river. No one saw the body, therefore, "went missing." At 34 years old.


Not awarded, not mourned by relatives, forgotten ... The usual thing in war, but the soul resists this. And Tatyana Mishina, a search engine from the Volgograd region, and I took up the search for our own pilot. We went to pre-war addresses, asking old-timers, searched in archives, registry offices, on military sites, wrote tens of thousands of messages on social networks, called institutions and hundreds of namesakes throughout the former Soviet Union - to the Kuban, Siberia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the Caucasus, in Orenburg, on a ship on the Black Sea.


And yet, the family of Semyon Konobevtsev could not be found. The fate of the wife of Nadezhda Mikhailovna is unknown, and the children, we believe, did not have time to be born ...

Timothy


“My general,” Anna called him in the diary. Ildar Bikbaev and Tatyana Mishina unraveled his fate in the archives, and goose bumps.


At the age of 17, Timothy joined the Red Army to fight against Kolchak. Barely survived due to typhoid. At the end of the military-political Academy of the Red Army in Leningrad - the garrisons of the Caucasus (children were born in Dagestan), the Far East, Transnistria. For 22 years of excellent service and participation in battles, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star and the medal "Twentieth Years of the Red Army." The 39-year-old Timothy met the regimental commissar of the 15th Sivash Motodivisiya. In August 1941, near Uman, the division was surrounded and defeated, while trying to break through, the acting division commander Laskin, commissar Konobevtsev and commander of the 14th tank regiment Firsov were captured. Each made his choice: Firsov broke down and went on to cooperate with the Germans, and Laskin and Konobevtsev managed to escape, go out to their own, but did not report that they had been held captive for about two days. Thus laying a time bomb under your destiny.


Major General Ivan Andreevich Laskin, a native of Belebey, will capture Field Marshal Paulus in the final of the Battle of Stalingrad. He will receive the rank of lieutenant general and appointment as chief of staff of the 4th Ukrainian Front.

Colonel Timofei Fedorovich Konobevtsev will become an assistant to the Inspector General of the Main Armored Directorate of the Red Army.


Former Colonel Firsov will take part in punitive operations against the civilian population, and as the Red Army approaches, it will be transferred to the partisans. He will be exposed, and, escaping, he slanders Konobevtsev and Laskin during interrogations.


They were arrested at the end of 1943 on suspicion of collaborating with enemy intelligence. Prison cells, interrogations and torture in order to break, “sew” treason to the commanders, whose life was given to the Red Army from its first days. Nine years went by. Laskin was rehabilitated in 1953. Konobevtsev rehabilitated according to some sources, shot by others ...


Deeply sympathizing with his children, we made great efforts to find them. Alas ... Bikbaev in the archive of the Ministry of Defense found that in 1942, 17-year-old Rosa and 15-year-old Vladlen and their mother Klavdia Petrovna Katkova lived in Ufa on Lassalya Street (now Engels), house 2. In 1944, my father was in prison, daughter of the "enemy of the people" goes to the front. Junior sergeant of the 140th long-range reconnaissance air squadron of the 10th Air Army of the Far Eastern Front, Rosa Konobevtseva was awarded the medal "For Military Merit." In Tula, Tatyana Mishina found 25-year-old Yegor Konabevtsev - one letter in his last name was changed. Egor is the great-grandson of the eldest of the brothers, Ivan Fedorovich, who lived in Ufa. His son Valentin left to fight.


Egor was stunned by the story of Semen - did not know about him. “I just found the story of Grandfather Valentine on military sites. He fought on Kursk, gunner, sergeant. He has the Order of the Red Star, a medal. Grandfather was seriously injured, with bone damage, but did not leave the battlefield. I met my grandmother in the hospital. After the war, they moved to Tula. Grandfather said that he was from Bashkiria, but we did not know his relatives ... ”

Alexei


In Kazakhstan, Tatyana tracked down Alexei Konobevtsev, named after his grandfather. “So yes ... I already got goosebumps ... we have a hero pilot in our relatives! I’ve never even heard of Semyon, but my dad was looking for relatives, he didn’t live a bit, ”he said. - My brothers, children, nephews in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Barnaul have watched on the Internet how many times the plane with Semyon was lifted, cried and rejoiced - we have a big family ... So we think with brother Anatoly: why don’t grandfather told the three sons about his brothers? We got photographs and documents where he mentions five brothers and two sisters and that their roots are from the village of Petropavlovka in the Sterlitamak district of Bashkiria. Our grandfather Alexei graduated from the Institute in Leningrad in 1934, he built bridges in Altai and Kazakhstan all his life, he is a lieutenant of the railway troops, he has awards. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and when he sang "Smuglyanochka", everyone listened ... ".

For the hundredth time I’ve been looking at all the namesakes in social networks ... Suddenly, the heart runs through: the same courageous face, look ... And the name is Fedor, popular among the Konobevtsevs. Moskvich, Ph.D. He answers: “Yes, I was named after the great-grandfather of Fedor Konobevtsev, an engineer major in aviation, during the war he returned broken planes to duty. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, medals "For the Defense of Moscow", "For Military Merit." He educated his son - my grandfather, he is a famous doctor, inventor, professor. But neither grandfather, nor father, nor I’m related to Fyodor Fyodorovich’s line, and have lost hope. Do you know what my great-grandfather says in his autobiography? “Thrown into the orphanage at 2 years 2 months.” I’ve never even seen a photo of him. ”


But Ildar Bikbaev already found in the archive of the Ministry of Defense a personal file of a possible relative with a note about the orphanage and a photograph. Fedor saw and instantly believed: this is his great-grandfather!


We turn with the already found portraits of all the brothers and Fedor Fedorovich to the Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Belarus. A stunning conclusion: most likely they are brothers! The distant times came to life, invaded the life of Fedor and his family with the dramatic fate of their relatives

Akim


We arrived in Raevka, here the Konobevtsevs in 1906 moved from Sterlitamak district. Nadezhda Serikova and Lyubov Pastukhova, the nieces of Akim’s wife, remembered his mother, Maria Ivanovna, tall, stately, with a strong character. And they talked with love about uncle - beautiful and kind. I adored my wife, kids, sorry, my own. He loved nature, fishing. They showed a photo of Akim, and the old man at the old gramophone with the Order of Glory of the III degree, World War II and the medal "For Courage" looked at us on his chest. And we, having already studied the archives, saw in it a brave minder-adjuster of the 25th tank Kirovograd Order of Lenin twice the Red Banner Order of the Suvorov Brigade.

On March 9, when the city of Uman was captured, despite a strong bombardment from the air, Konobevtsev quickly dismantled the rocker mechanism, fixed the malfunction, and the machine went into battle again. "For courage and fearlessness in battles, for the quick restoration of wrecked tanks directly on the battlefield, it deserves a government award."


Did Akim know when liberating Uman in March 1944 that it was here in August 1941 that his elder brother was surrounded by? The traitor Firsov, having slandered, interrupted the military fate of Timothy, and now Akim was fighting with his brother through Ukraine, the Baltic states, East Prussia, Poland to Prague, to the Victory.

Alexandra and Anna


The mystery was the fate of Alexandra, the eldest of the sisters. Colleagues advised to stop her search. But the clue doesn’t let go - the words of Valentina Tobolskaya as she played with the son of Aunt Shura, having arrived with her mother in Raevka in 1961. The search continues.


The youngest in the Konobevtsev family - Anna - was mobilized during the war and sent to the Far East as a surgical sister. There she met love - 21-year-old Ivan Tobolsky on a tank arrived on his first date. In 1988 she was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree. All my life passed through the military garrisons of the Far East, the GDR ... Having not lived to these days, she invisibly helped us with her memoirs. Surprisingly, they were created in the city on the Neva. Brothers Timothy and Alexei learned in it, Semyon gave his life for it, and now their nephews Valentina and Anatoly Tobolsky and their children, who did not know these stories, live.

Family secret


Gathering a huge family across the country, Tatyana Mishina and I seemed to watch a film about the life of the Konobevtsevs: from an early age, having learned the hard work of the railroad, they went through the civil war and famine of 1921, studied hard at institutes, academies and military schools, and served from the Far East to the western border of the USSR. And when the Great Patriotic War broke out, all heroically passed this test, all were awarded orders and medals. After the war, the surviving brothers and sisters settled their lives.



But never met. Only once - sisters and akim. And they didn’t tell anything to the children. Why? Our version: the matter lies in the fate that fell to Timothy. If the commander, the pride of the family, a strong man, inexplicably disappeared in the maelstrom of repression ... Numbing from horror, people moved away, saving their families. Heroic tragic times ...


Salute to the hero


On August 12 this year, on the Day of the Air Force of Russia, attack aircraft will fly over the Neva, waving their wings to the sea pilot Konobevtsev. The ashes of senior lieutenant Semyon Konobevtsev will be delivered to the military memorial in Maryino. Not mourned and not buried, missing 75 years ago.


Now his relatives will do this, whom we found in Tula, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Barnaul, Davlekanovo, Raevka, St. Petersburg, Surgut, Moscow. And next to them will be the guys from the Search Movement of Russia. And we, yesterday, people still not familiar with each other from all over the country, we will experience a piercing moment when we are united.
