Впервые в новейшей истории России градоначальник официально признался, что занимался продажей должностей в своей администрации. Более того, он написал заявление на имя руководителя Следственного комитета Александра Бастрыкина, в котором подробно рассказал, кто, когда и за сколько покупал у него кресла заместителей, назвал фамилии и должности офицеров из областного управления ФСБ, замешанных в скандале.
Сам оскандалившийся глава города ситуацию сейчас предпочитает не комментировать. В суд он подал встречный иск с требованием признать расписку недействительной.
— Мэр у нас из бывших коммерсантов, — рассказывает один из городских депутатов. — Соответственно он привык мыслить рыночными категориями. Вся эта история вылезла только потому, что Суслопаров решил, что продал должности на год, а покупатели — что на весь срок его пребывания у власти. Тут не суд должен разбираться, а общество защиты прав потребителей. Срок годности товара оказался меньше заявленного.
Владимир Суслопаров действительно уволил обоих "проданных" заместителей ровно через год после победы на выборах. Первый возглавлял комитет по управлению муниципальным имуществом.
