Осталось несколько недель до выборов. Дебаты приобретают все более эмоциональный характер. Партии выставляют своих главных спикеров. Правда, не все, к сожалению. Лучше бы все, тем самым проявляя уважение к избирателям. А в Лондоне тем временем идет суд (между Борисом Березовским и Романом Абрамовичем – прим. ВЗГЛЯД). И там тоже довольно интересно и тоже эмоции накалены.

Меня удивляет этот лондонский суд не только тем, что там обсуждают события, произошедшие в России в конце того века и в начале этого. Но и тем, что наши все как-то легко приняли английскую юрисдикцию. Оказывается, все можно.
Выясняется, что бывший заместитель или руководитель Совбеза (Борис Березовский – прим. ВЗГЛЯД), не помню, как он назывался, и бывший губернатор, а ныне действующий чуть ли не депутат чукотской Думы (Роман Абрамович – прим. ВЗГЛЯД) могут давать показания в суде.
А они разве не являются носителями государственной тайны?
И приезжают давать показания в английский суд ныне действующий московский чиновник и находящийся в отставке, но, очевидно, с неистекшим сроком давности Александр Стальевич Волошин. А ведь как-никак возглавлял кремлевскую администрацию.
Это что, нормально?
Раньше такого рода суды были возможны по делам колоний в метрополии. Да, конечно, если в Индии было что-то не так, то могли в английском суде рассмотреть. И действительно, индийские набобы и чиновники ехали в Лондон за правдой.

И то, что там рассказывают о нашем государстве, – это ли не позор на весь мир?
