Hackers retrieved personal information from ex-US Secretary of State Kissinger, thousands of military, intelligence and NATO employees.
Personal data has been made publicly available on the Internet
former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and former US Vice President Dan Quayle, who served in this post under President George W. Bush.
E-mail addresses and passwords of thousands of American and British military, intelligence officers, police, as well as NATO advisers and politicians have been posted on the World Wide Web by activists of the hacker group Anonymous.
According to ITAR-TASS, at the end of last year they hacked into the website of Stratfor, a private American analytical research company, which is sometimes called the “shadow CIA” in the US press. Thus, hackers gained access to a list of 850 thousand Stratfor subscribers, credit card numbers of 75 thousand users of the site’s paid subscription, and email addresses.
Published data contains information on 221 representatives of the British Ministry of Defense and 242 NATO employees. Among the information related to the United States, about 19 thousand e-mail records belonging to the domain of the US military were found in the database. Already identified data on 173 people stationed in Afghanistan, and 170 - in Iraq.
The hacker group Anonymous (“Anonymous”) attacks the sites of companies that they believe are harmful to freedom on the Internet and in life. Visa, Mastercard payment systems, which froze Julian Assange's accounts, and PayPal, which refused to accept transfers in the name of Assange, have already suffered from their actions.
In addition, anonymity has dealt a blow to the resources of the Egyptian Ministry of Information, as well as the country's ruling National Democratic Party, Amazon hosting provider, Swiss PostFinance bank, the website of the Swedish prosecutor’s office and the site of former Alaskan governor Sarah Palin.

В открытый доступ в Интернете попали персональные данные
экс-госсекретаря США Генри Киссинджера и бывшего вице-президента США Дэна Куэйла, работавшего на этом посту при президенте Джордже Буше-старшем.
Адреса электронной почты и пароли тысяч американских и британских военных, сотрудников разведки, полиции, а также советников НАТО и политиков выложили во всемирную паутину активисты хакерской группировки Anonymous.
Как сообщает ИТАР-ТАСС, в конце минувшего года они взломали сайт частной американской аналитическо-исследовательской компании «Стратфор», которую в прессе США иногда именуют «теневым ЦРУ». Таким образом хакеры получили доступ к списку из 850 тысяч подписчиков «Стратфор», номерам кредитных карт 75 тысяч пользователей платной подписки сайта и адресам электронной почты.
Опубликованные данные содержат сведения о 221 представителе британского Министерства обороны и 242 сотрудниках НАТО. Среди сведений, относящихся к США, в базе найдены около 19 тысяч записей электронной почты, принадлежащих к домену американских военных. Уже выявлены данные о 173 лицах, дислоцированных в Афганистане, и 170 — в Ираке.
Хакерская группа Anonymous («Анонимы») атакует сайты компаний, по их мнению, действующих во вред свободе в Интернете и в жизни. От их действий уже пострадали платежные системы Visa, Mastercard, заморозившие счета Джулиана Ассанжа, и PayPal, отказавшейся принимать переводы на имя Ассанжа.
Кроме того, анонимы нанесли удар по ресурсам Министерства информации Египта, а также правящей Национальной демократической партии страны, хостинг-провайдеру Amazon, швейцарскому банку PostFinance, сайту шведской прокуратуры и сайту бывшего губернатора Аляски Сары Пэйлин.
