Ibiza decided to hire antique private detectives
In the popular resort of Ibiza in Spain, they decided to deal with violations of restrictions in connection with the coronavirus in an unusual way. The country's authorities are going to hire private detectives who will identify illegal mass events and report them to the police. This was reported by the Diken edition.
Private detectives will act under the guise of tourists. To be more convincing, only foreigners between the ages of 30 and 40 will be hired for this job.
Since such events are organized by local residents, it is difficult for other residents to report them to the police. In this regard, the authorities decided to attract foreigners who have nothing to do with the local population.
The government explains the adoption of this measure by the danger of unauthorized activities at the resort for the health of the country's population. The Spanish authorities believe that the recent spread of the coronavirus is associated with massive violations of existing restrictive measures. At the same time, the violators are most often young people.
Due to the pandemic in Ibiza, all indoor nightclubs are still temporarily closed and it is forbidden to gather in large groups of people in private territories between 01:00 and 06:00 in the morning.
