Russian Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev forbade his subordinates to dismiss police violators retroactively. This was reported on May 29 by Interfax. At a meeting of the board of the department, he threatened the leaders with resignations for making such decisions and trying to hush up the facts of violations.
Kolokoltsev called on the police leadership to immediately respond to violations by subordinates and voice their decision on them in the media. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs added that there are not so many cases in which verification is required to identify violations.

"What can be a lengthy check when a drunken employee committed an accident? There should be an immediate reaction," the agency quotes the general.

The newspaper Izvestia previously wrote that the dismissal of police officers from internal affairs agencies retroactively deprives victims of the right to make complaints to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the state. This practice leaves the opportunity to sue the ex-policeman only as a private person.

Stanislav woke up around 5 am on May 29 from the call. A stranger shook the button and kicked the door, his former employee Sergey called on the phone: “Get out for a showdown!”
