In Europe, another scandal erupts around wiretapping citizens' phones and theft of their confidential data. Threads this time lead to the Paris office of the furniture concern IKEA. Extensive dossiers were compiled for potential and current employees and even for brawl buyers. 1192

However, after that scandal, surveillance and listening not only did not stop, but were tripled. IKEA has contracted with Surete International, a privately held French company, formally engaged in business security consulting. For a certain monetary reward, the company collected information about these individuals for the furniture giant. Private detectives punched personal data through their people directly from the closed base of the French Ministry of Internal Affairs.
And the day before, the main suspects were detained. According to investigators, this is the general director of the French branch of the Swedish furniture corporation Stefan Vanoverbeke and financial director Dariush Richert. Four functionaries of the French police were also detained. According to the investigation, it was these four who, in violation of all legal norms and procedures, provided information on persons interested in IKEA for considerable money.
The main question now is all these auditions were exclusively the initiative of the French management of the Swedish concern, or is this a mandatory practice throughout IKEA? If so, then the investigation can now continue in other countries, reports NTV columnist Vadim Glusker.

Тогда обвинения в нелегальном сборе информации были предъявлены бывшему главе службы безопасности IKEA в регионе Воклюз, что на юге Франции, и экс-руководителю департамента управления рисками головного офиса IKEA во Франции Жан-Франсуа Париса. Следствие утверждало, что Парис нанял два частных агентства для сбора данных о кандидатах на прием на работу или повздоривших с IKEA покупателях.
Однако после того скандала слежки и прослушивания не только не прекратились, но были утроены. IKEA заключила контракт с частной французской компанией Surete International, формально занимающейся консалтингом по вопросам безопасности на предприятиях. За определенное денежное вознаграждение компания собирала для мебельного гиганта информацию об указанных лицах. Персональные данные частные детективы пробивали через своих людей непосредственно из закрытой базы МВД Франции.
И вот накануне были задержаны и основные подозреваемые. По версии следствия, это генеральный директор французского филиала шведской мебельной корпорации Стефан Вановербеке и финансовый директор Дариуш Ришерт. Также были задержаны 4 функционера французской полиции. Согласно расследованию, именно эти четверо в нарушение всех юридических норм и процедур предоставляли за немалые деньги информацию о лицах, интересовавших IKEA.
