Moscow City Court recognized FBK and Navalny's headquarters as extremist organizations

MOSCOW, June 9. / TASS /. The Moscow City Court on Wednesday recognized the Fund for Fighting Corruption and the Fund for the Protection of Citizens' Rights (FBK and FZPG), as well as the public movement "Navalny's Headquarters" as extremist organizations, having satisfied the claim of the capital's prosecutor's office. TASS was informed about this in the press service of the court.
"The decision of the Moscow City Court satisfied the administrative claim of the Moscow prosecutor's office against the non-profit organization Anti-Corruption Fund, the non-profit organization Fund for the Protection of Citizens' Rights, the public movement Navalny's Headquarters," the agency was told.
By the decision of the Moscow City Court on recognizing the FBK as an extremist organization, its activities were terminated immediately, the press service of the court reported.
Representatives of the FBK will appeal the decision of the Moscow City Court, said lawyer Valeria Vetoshkina, representing the interests of the fund. “We will appeal against today's decision of the court within 10 days allotted to us by law,” she said.

МОСКВА, 9 июня. /ТАСС/. Мосгорсуд в среду признал Фонд борьбы с коррупцией и Фонд защиты прав граждан (ФБК и ФЗПГ), а также общественное движение "Штабы Навального" экстремистскими организациями, удовлетворив иск столичной прокуратуры. Об этом ТАСС сообщили в пресс-службе суда.
"Решением Московского городского суда удовлетворено административное исковое заявление прокуратуры города Москвы к некоммерческой организации "Фонд борьбы с коррупцией", некоммерческой организации "Фонд защиты прав граждан", общественному движению "Штабы Навального", - сообщили агентству.
Решением Мосгорсуда о признании ФБК экстремистской организацией его деятельность прекращена незамедлительно, сообщила пресс-служба суда.
Представители ФБК обжалуют решение Мосгорсуда, заявила адвокат Валерия Ветошкина, представляющая интересы фонда. "Мы обжалуем сегодняшнее решение суда в течение 10 суток, отведенных нам законом", - сказала она.
