What is customary to give to kids? Cars, cubes, teddy bears ... December 8 at 15.00 dozens of Volgograd residents will gather on the Heroes Alley to release hundreds of blue balloons into the sky for little Maxim Korolev.
Maxim disappeared 2 years ago, in broad daylight, in the very center of the Kotovsky farm in the Uryupinsky district of the Volgograd Region. The whole world was looking for a boy - along with the police, volunteers combed the area. Hundreds of leaflets with a photograph of Maxim appeared on the streets of neighboring cities and towns, they distributed information about him on the Internet throughout Russia and even abroad - but they could not find a baby yet.
Then Maxim was 4 years old. In November, it turned six. The search continues, but - the leaflets are gradually removed, everything is forgotten, and perhaps today or tomorrow, someone will see Maxim on the street and will not recognize. That is why the volunteers of the Commonwealth “Search for Missing Children” and the search squad “VolgoSpas-Search for Missing Children” decided to remind again that somewhere the baby is waiting for our help, and therefore, it is impossible to give up.
December 8, the day Maxim disappeared two years ago, volunteers and everyone who wants to join them will gather in the center of the city on the Alley of Heroes to together release one hundred blue balls into the sky - the colors of the sky and hope, the color that became all over the world, the color of the volunteer movement to find missing children.
Everyone who comes to the Alley of Heroes at 3 p.m. will be able to learn how to protect their children from the danger of being abducted - and take a pack of leaflets about Maxim. The leaflets can be pasted in their area, handed out in the house, taken to a nearby store, to the train station so that as many people as possible can see Maxim’s photo again, find out that they are still looking for him.
Leaflets will be distributed not only in Volgograd - dozens of volunteers and concerned subscribers of the site poiskdetei.ru that day will go with them to the streets of their cities, talking about Maxim, recalling him - with the hope that someone will see, recognize, call and say : "I saw your baby."
And in the evening, when it begins to get dark, 6 luminous paper lanterns will rise into the sky - as a gift for Maxim’s sixth birthday and a guiding sign that helps him to return home more quickly.
The more people learn about it, take leaflets, join the action, the more likely it is that Maxim will meet his next birthday at home, with his family. Therefore, it is so important that the upcoming action be told in the media, on radio and television. It is important that dozens of people understand that there is no one’s misfortune, respond, and then together we can return Maxim home.

He was wearing: a black rabbit hat with ears, a blue jacket with a yellow applique in the shape of a bear, dark blue jeans with embroideries, brown leather boots with a brown edge, a spotted yellow-black scarf.
Signs of a child (for 2012): 5-6 years old, 110-116 cm tall, medium build, oval face, light blond hair, blue eyes.
Special features: vertical scar on the abdomen - 7 cm.
