In Irkutsk, three members of a criminal group suspected of fraud in the real estate market and a number of serious crimes were detained, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Irkutsk Region reports.
The operational part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the Irkutsk region received information that some citizens are trying to fraudulently seize the apartment of a resident of the Sverdlovsk district of the regional center, keeping it outside the city.
The group worked according to the classical scheme: lonely people who abuse alcohol or drugs were taken to a summer cottage, where they managed to prepare the necessary documents using alcohol and threats. According to investigators, the crime plan was developed by a 51-year-old resident of Irkutsk, who in the past worked as a realtor. The scheme worked flawlessly until a friend of one of the victims turned to the police.
The accomplices are detained and give confessions, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Irkutsk Region notes. The investigators have already established the facts of theft and forgery of documents for apartments on the streets of Gogol, Lermontov and on Ryabikov Boulevard, as well as cottages in gardening of the Irkutsk region.
For a series of fraudulent acts and kidnapping, the defendants face up to 25 years in prison, reports the portal IRN.ru.

В Иркутске задержаны три участника преступной группы, подозреваемые в махинациях на рынке недвижимости и ряде тяжких преступлений, сообщает пресс-служба ГУ МВД РФ по Иркутской области.
В оперативную часть МВД РФ по Иркутской области поступила информация о том, что некие граждане пытаются обманным путем завладеть квартирой жителя Свердловского района областного центра, удерживая его за пределами города.
Группа работала по классической схеме: одиноких людей, злоупотребляющих алкоголем или наркотиками, вывозили на дачный участок, где с помощью спиртного и угроз удавалось подготовить необходимые документы. По версии следствия, план преступлений разрабатывал 51-летний житель Иркутска, в прошлом работавший риелтором. Схема работала безотказно, пока знакомый одного из потерпевших не обратился в полицию.
Подельники задержаны и дают признательные показания, отмечают в пресс-службе ГУ МВД РФ по Иркутской области.. Оперативниками уже установлены факты хищения и подделки документов на квартиры по улицам Гоголя, Лермонтова и на бульваре Рябикова, а также дачи в садоводствах Иркутского района.
