Employees of the Office "K" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia prevented the activities of an inter-regional criminal group that was involved in hacking websites and user accounts of the Internet. For three years, attackers managed to earn tens of millions of rubles from illegal business, and residents of a third of Russia's regions became victims.
The detectives found that the organizers of the criminal business were two residents of Moscow, brothers. Through their acquaintances, as well as through the Internet, they searched for customers who needed information about citizens of interest to them.
“Attackers offered a wide range of services: hacking accounts on various social networks, on mail servers and web sites, organizing DDOS attacks, as well as covert surveillance and wiretapping,” said KP in the K department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. - Malicious programs necessary for the implementation of criminal intentions were created both by programmers from the circle of attackers and casual acquaintances who appeared as a result of communication on specialized sites. In order to recoup the costs of creating programs, young people subsequently offered their customers to purchase them at a price of 80 to 100 thousand rubles. Access to them was carried out by a resident of the city of Almetyevsk of the Republic of Tatarstan, previously convicted of distributing child pornography on the Internet, and DDOS attacks by other performers.
In order for things to succeed, the attackers advertised their activities on the Internet through their friends, as well as printed advertisements, which their assistants later distributed through mailboxes and handed expensive cars to drivers on the roadway. All participants in the organized crime group observed increased conspiracy measures and resorted to the help of intermediaries to transfer and receive money from customers.
During the operational-search activities, officers of the Office "K" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia managed to establish the identities of all participants in the organized criminal group and detain them. One of the attackers tried to hide from the operatives in a car, but the detectives managed to catch up and block it. Simultaneous searches were conducted at the places of residence of all participants in the organized crime group in Moscow and the city of Almetyevsk, Republic of Tatarstan.
Computers, digital media with malicious software, prints from various organizations, and special technical tools for scanning radio frequencies and secretly receiving information were found and seized. And at the place of residence of the performer in Almetyevsk, the investigators found, in addition to the source texts of malicious programs, a complete list of hacked email addresses, access time to them, logins, passwords, email addresses of customers, accounts for receiving funds totaling more than 10 million rubles , as well as all accounting related to illegal activities.

Сотрудниками Управления "К" МВД России пресечена деятельность межрегиональной преступной группы, которая занималась взломом сайтов и аккаунтов пользователей сети Интернет. За три года злоумышленникам удалось заработать на незаконном бизнесе десятки миллионов рублей, а пострадавшими стали жители трети регионов России.
Сыщики установили, что организаторами преступного бизнеса стали двое жителей Москвы, братья. Через своих знакомых, а также с помощью сети Интернет они искали клиентов, которым была необходима информация об интересующих их гражданах.
- Злоумышленники предлагали широкий ассортимент услуг: взлом аккаунтов в различных соцсетях, на почтовых серверах и web-сайтах, организацию DDOS-атак, а также скрытое наблюдение и прослушку, - рассказали "КП" в управлении "К" МВД России. - Вредоносные программы, необходимые для осуществления преступных замыслов, создавали как программисты из круга общения злоумышленников, так и случайные знакомые, которые появлялись в результате общения на специализированных сайтах. Для того чтобы окупить траты на создание программ, молодые люди впоследствии предлагали своим клиентам приобрести их по цене от 80 до 100 тысяч рублей. Доступ к ним осуществлял житель г. Альметьевска Республики Татарстан, ранее судимый за распространение детской порнографии в сети Интернет, а DDOS-атаки – иные исполнители.
Для того чтобы дела шли успешнее, злоумышленники рекламировали свою деятельность в сети Интернет, через своих знакомых, а также печатали рекламные объявления, которые впоследствии их помощники распространяли через почтовые ящики и вручали на проезжей части водителям дорогостоящих иномарок. Все участники ОПГ соблюдали повышенные меры конспирации и прибегали к помощи посредников для передачи и получения денежных средств от клиентов.
В ходе оперативно-розыскных мероприятий сотрудникам Управления "К" МВД России удалось установить личности всех участников ОПГ и задержать их. Один из злоумышленников попытался скрыться от оперативников на автомобиле, однако сыщикам удалось догнать и блокировать его. Были проведены одновременные обыски по местам жительства всех участников ОПГ в Москве и г. Альметьевске Республики Татарстан.
Обнаружены и изъяты компьютеры, цифровые носители информации с вредоносным программным обеспечением, печати различных организаций, специальные технические средства для сканирования радиочастот и негласного получения информации. А по месту жительства исполнителя в Альметьевске оперативники нашли, кроме исходных текстов вредоносных программ, еще и полный список взломанных электронных адресов, время доступа к ним, логины, пароли, электронные почтовые адреса заказчиков, счета на получение денежных средств на общую сумму свыше 10 миллионов рублей, а также всю бухгалтерию, связанную с противоправной деятельностью.
В отношении задержанных хакеров возбуждено уголовное дело по статье "Неправомерный доступ к компьютерной информации".
