Case. Recovering quickly erased information that has almost disappeared from the search engine cache.

Source

The situation is interesting. Until now, I have not had to recover texts deleted from the Internet this way, so I’ll tell you more. Moreover, the author of the material that I restored does not mind.

So, on the blog of Plato Mamatov (kaisi), I saw a text a week ago, with the title: "There was a text about politota, but I erased it, because I'm tired of it."

Usually in such cases it’s enough just to climb into the Yandex or Google cache to read the deleted material. However, in this case, the author deleted it so quickly that it did not work.
“How quickly I erased - I don’t remember. I clearly remember that I re-read my blog, thought“ fucked up, sick, ”and erased,” Plato told me.

The situation in the Yandex cache was curious. Upon request

'inurl: kaisi.livejournal.com/783970.html'

The picture in the main Yandex output was like this:

001sfsyh.jpg

I took the phrase "from the received text Little Theodore, who has amassed himself a bag of dough with godly methods "and further began to work with her.

The main issuance of Yandex, when requested for this exact phrase, snippets showed:

001sg96k.jpg

And the main issue of Google is no:

001sh2c0.jpg

The issuance of Yandex on blogs - showed, but very peculiar.

Snippets were visible:

001sk6ab.jpg

But when trying to open and see the full text, a new version of the post popped up, albeit with the old (original) heading:

001sp4zs.jpg

An attempt to open a “saved copy” from a Yandex blog search returned the text already changed:

001sqgyz.jpg

And an attempt to open a saved copy from the main Yandex output gave the same negative result for me:

001srb59.jpg

I will not take screenshots, but simply say that the rest of the well-known and not very well-known search engines to which I distributed this request were unable to cope with the task - they did not see this text at all. This text also did not manage to get into the Aikubaz data base - neither in the new, nor in the old form.

Then I made a request to Google not for the exact phrase, but using the inurl operator. The result was curious. The page was found.
At the same time, Google’s cache, like the Yanlex cache, contained a new version of the page and could not help me with anything:

001ssh1k.jpg

But Google also had non-textual information - a screenshot of the post stored in its cache. And this screenshot was clearly taken from the original text:

( Here is a link to the picture itself - I give it because it is important in the right part, which does not fit the screen here:
https://pics.livejournal.com/yushchuk/pic/001st9bq.jpg
)

001st9bq.jpg

The image quality there, however, is such that it is not possible to parse all the text. But individual words are nevertheless readable.

001swhd9.jpg

It turns out that Google has a screenshot of the original text and shows it, albeit difficult to read, but in its entirety.
At the same time, Yandex stores and is able to display all the original text and is ready to show it in the form of snippets, but not all at the same time.

I conducted an experiment that turned out to be successful: I began to take one or two words from each paragraph in the screenshot and put them in a search on the kaisi blog through an advanced search.
Here is how it looked.

First paragraph and so shown by Yandex - it did not have to be restored:

Little Theodore, who has amassed himself a bag of dough with God-modern methods (from shameless propaganda in the interests of power and information blackmail to outright raiding)

Second paragraph was restored by the word "taxis":

001sxb1y.jpg

The glorious Fedya, who rules the chernushny and absolutely immoral "Political Council".

Third paragraph - by the word "letter":

001sy12w.jpg

Good friend Fedenka, poking his stigma in other people's letters, and then merging them to the side .

Fourth paragraph - according to the word Krasheninnikov:

001sz4ks.jpg

Our glorious Fedya Krasheninnikov wrote a moral program for the opposition.

Fifth paragraph consists of one word " Fuck "which is already visible.

Sixth paragraph restored by the word "features":

001t0tw8.jpg

Well, a cherry on the cake - the August approval of this program by the highly moral Leonid Mikhalych, who knows about all the cute features of his friend and associate.

Seventh paragraph readable on a screenshot of Google: " Oh, the Jesuit Fathers. How beautiful. I love "

Eighth paragraph - restored by the word "sleep":

001t1ay7.jpg

I’ll go, I’ll forget my sleep.

So, the text that currently looks like this:

There was a text about politota, but I erased it, because I’m tired
Thesis: Fedya - an asshole, who believes him - naive cretins

Restored in its original form:

Jesuit Fathers
Little Theodore, who has amassed himself a bag of dough with God-modern methods (from shameless propaganda in the interests of power and information blackmail to outright raiding)
The glorious Fedya, who rules the chernushny and absolutely immoral "Political Council".
Good friend Fedenka, poking his stigma in other people's letters, and then merging them to the side.
Our glorious Fedya Krasheninnikov wrote a moral program for the opposition.
Fuck
Well, a cherry on the cake - the August approval of this program by the highly moral Leonid Mikhalych, who knows about all the cute features of his friend and associate.
Oh, the Jesuit Fathers. How beautiful. I love
I’ll go, I’ll forget my sleep.

I believe that specialists Competitive intelligence as well as lawyers collecting destroyed evidence on the Internet, this method may come in handy someday.

And once again the idea of the importance of combining textual and non-textual information when searching the Internet was confirmed.

' inurl:kaisi.livejournal.com/783970.html '

001sfsyh.jpg

001sqgyz.jpg

https://pics.livejournal.com/yushchuk/pic/001st9bq.jpg
)

001st9bq.jpg
