Almost 10 years fraud trial started in Minsk. The person involved, who appeared to be a detective, is also accused of illegally manufacturing and selling special equipment for secretly obtaining information - a “bug” with magnets that can determine the coordinates of an object. Now the court of the Moscow region understands this story.

Investigation of the case of the UK completed in February. The accused Andrei Matveev is 35 years old. According to the investigation, he created the site of a supposedly detective agency, he himself appeared to be a well-known private detective and assured that he could collect information about the place of residence and work, lifestyle, social circle, sources of income and other personal information about people in the interests of the customer. The site indicated contacts and positive reviews allegedly from real customers.

As a rule, women turned to “services” for wanting to convict husbands and cohabitants of treason. There are facts when clients “ordered” data collection and surveillance for people who were strangers to them, business rivals, etc. Detective, wishing to appear like a reliable person, showed customers its passport and drew up a receipt on receipt of money with passport data.

The defendant promised customers to receive information, including from closed sources - specialized departmental databases, which he did not actually have access to - and provide information about telephone connections.

For services one-time took from 100 to 1500 rubles. So deceived 19 people. The first episode in this criminal case dates back to February 2011.

As for the bugs, this turned out to be the following: the accused bought a children's smart watch with the function of a GPS tracker on the radio market, asked a friend to remake it for a tracking device, and handed it to the customer for installation in the spouse’s car. The person tracked the coordinates of the machine’s movement using the software for children's watches and transmitted them to the client. The investigators found such a device at home at the "detective" during the search. According to the expert’s opinion, it refers to special technical means intended for secretly obtaining information.

By the way, the detective was already tried for such scams, the last time - in 2013. Then he was sentenced to two years and four months of restraint of liberty in a correctional institution of an open type. Now he is charged under two articles of the Criminal Code and is in custody.

Now in court Matveev decided to defend his rights himself. Filming during the meeting asked not to conduct.

Detective detained in the summer of 2019. Just at that moment when he took money from the next customer. The accused pleaded guilty in both formulations and in full.

“I created the site in 2016, before that I had advertised the services of a private detective in monitoring, surveillance,” Matveyev began his story in court. - He indicated his phone number and other contact details, first and last names were fictitious.

Did you know about the illegality of such services? He says that in 2011 he was interested in this issue: “I looked that there are no normative acts that regulate this. That is, this activity was not allowed or prohibited. ”

Talking about the first accused accused episode, he said that then one businessman asked the "detective" to protect him from checks: "And I decided to deceive him, I took the money." Another victim installed some equipment at home, which supposedly was supposed to eliminate noise. Noises, Matveyev said in court, did not stop, and the woman began to demand money back.

Turning to the person involved, customers asked for printouts of telephone connections of subscribers, ordered tracking of spouses and their mistresses, and one client ordered monitoring of her sister.

- Another victim asked me to get acquainted with the girl, take her to restaurants, and collect incriminating information on her. At that time, the customer herself was establishing relations with her young man ... Another girl called me and said that there must be a wiretap in her car. I arrived, inspected the car, found nothing and said about it. She paid me for this.
