The Prosecutor General's Office has blocked two secure mail services
Sites, including technical ones, and IP-addresses of CryptoHeaven and SaluSafe services were entered in the register of prohibited
While conducting another monitoring of the register of prohibited sites, we found that new secure e-mail services were blocked. This time, the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation decided send in the ban CryptoHeaven and SaluSafe which provide not only e-mail services, but also short messaging and data storage.
As a rule, the blocking of the Prosecutor General's Office concerns sites that disseminate information related to extremism, terrorism, unwanted organizations, calls for mass riots, and fake news, as well as other similar resources recognized by the supervisory agency as unsafe.
In the past and at the beginning of this year, a separate trend was the blocking of protected services, since their users allegedly sent messages about false minions ... The most notorious cases were cases of restricting access to sites ProtonMail , StartMail (now disputes blocking in a Russian court), Tutanota and Scryptmail (the last one was locked Roskomnadzor through the court on the grounds that the service refused to provide it with data in the ARI register, and earlier its claims against it expressed FSB).
The newly arrived postal services have not yet commented on their blocking in Russia - at least they have not written anything about it on social networks and official blogs. It is worth noting that CryptoHeaven and SaluSafe are quite niche products, and both of them do not have such widespread use as, for example, ProtonMail and StartMail. There are also no comments about this on the websites of Roskomnadzor and the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation.

Генпрокуратура заблокировала два защищённых почтовых сервиса
В реестр запрещённых были внесены сайты, в том числе технические, и IP-адреса сервисов CryptoHeaven и SaluSafe
Проводя очередной мониторинг реестра запрещённых сайтов, мы обнаружили, что под блокировку попали новые сервисы защищённой электронной почты. На этот раз Генеральная прокуратура РФ решила отправить в бан CryptoHeaven и SaluSafe, которые предоставляют услуги не только электронной почты, но и обмена короткими сообщениями и хранения данных.
Как правило, блокировки Генпрокуратуры касаются сайтов, которые распространяют информацию, связанную с экстремизмом, терроризмом, нежелательными организациями, призывами к массовым беспорядкам, и фейковые новости, а также других подобных ресурсов, признанных надзорным ведомством небезопасными.
В прошлом и в начале текущего года отдельным трендом была блокировка защищённых сервисов, поскольку их пользователи якобы рассылали сообщения о лжеминированиях. Наиболее громкими стали случаи с ограничением доступа к сайтам ProtonMail, StartMail (сейчас оспаривает блокировку в российском суде), Tutanota и Scryptmail (последний был заблокирован Роскомнадзором через суд на том основании, что сервис отказался предоставлять ему данные в реестр ОРИ, а ранее свои претензии к нему высказывала ФСБ).
Новоприбывшие почтовые сервисы пока никак не комментировали свою блокировку на территории России — по крайней мере, в социальных сетях и официальных блогах ничего об этом не писали. Стоит заметить, CryptoHeaven и SaluSafe являются достаточно нишевыми продуктами, и такого широкого применения, как, например, ProtonMail и StartMail, оба они не имеют. На сайтах Роскомнадзора и Генеральной прокуратуры РФ также никаких комментариев об этом нет.
