The inspector of the traffic police for the Ramensky municipal district, who examined the cars separately, believed the owner of a foreign car. In his opinion, the scratches on the Chevrolet fully corresponded to the damages on the pensioner's VAZ car. They were inflicted ostensibly as a turn follower and fender of an old Lada. At the same time, interestingly, the turn signal on Ryabov’s “four” was intact and the wing was not wrinkled (which is impossible if we take into account that the wing liner damaged Lanos). The official examination was carried out only two months after the accident, moreover, from photographs. The expert concluded that the guilty pensioner "can be assumed." As a result, the court sided with the prosecution. The testimony of Ryabov’s witnesses was not taken into account. Moreover, the court rejected the application of the owner of the VAZ for re-examination. Practice shows that in such situations the court in most cases takes the side of the accusing party. So to prove your innocence in case you find yourself in a similar situation will be extremely difficult.

В последнее время сотрудники ГИБДД активно начали искать на стоянках и заправках автомобили с повреждениями, похожими на фигурирующие в делах о ДТП со скрывшимся с места преступления водителем. Подмосковного пенсионера Петра Рябова обвинили в оставлении места ДТП с участием автомобиля Chevrolet Lanos. Инспектор ОГИБДД по Раменскому муниципальному району, осматривавший автомобили отдельно, поверил владелице иномарки. По его мнению, царапины на Chevrolet полностью соответствовали повреждениям на автомобиле ВАЗ пенсионера. Нанесены они были якобы повторителем поворота и подкрылком старенькой Lada. При этом, что интересно, поворотник на «четверке» Рябова был цел и крыло не было помято (что невозможно, если учитывать, что подкрылок повредил Lanos). Официальная экспертиза была проведена лишь через два месяца после аварии, причем по фотографиям. Эксперт вынес заключение, что виновность пенсионера «можно предположить». В итоге суд встал на сторону обвинения. Показания свидетелей со стороны Рябова учтены не были. Более того, суд отклонил ходатайство владельца ВАЗа о повторной экспертизе. Практика показывает, что в подобных ситуациях суд в большинстве случаев встает на сторону обвиняющей стороны. Так что доказать свою невиновность в случае, если вы попадете в подобную ситуацию, будет крайне непросто.
