The Student Olympiad on Cybersecurity is aimed at strengthening the system of legal education and science, and contributes to the development of the traditions of professional student competitions in the field of law.

The main goals of the Olympiad are:

a) improving the quality of training of specialists in the field of criminal law and procedure, criminologists, information security;

b) improving the educational process and extracurricular work with students in higher legal education institutions;

c) development of the creative abilities of law students in the field of cybersecurity in order to further involve them in private detective work in Russia;

d) increasing the interest of students in their profession;

e) identification of especially gifted law students, their support and encouragement;

f) analysis of information on the quality of professional training of students in higher educational institutions that provide training in the field of jurisprudence.

Due to the difficult epidemiological situation, in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in 2021, the Olympics will be held in absentia, excluding the personal presence of the Olympics participants. Each participant submits a scientific abstract. The maximum number of abstracts from one organization is three, in the case of submission of three abstracts, the organizations also compete in the team competition.

The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad are determined in three nominations:

- "For the best research work";

- “For creativity and originality”;

- “Organizer's Prize”.

One and the same scientific abstract is evaluated in all nominations of the Olympiad.

The awarding of the winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad, the presentation of certificates to the participants of the Olympiad is carried out by the organizing committee of the Olympiad by sending Diplomas and certificates to the educational organization that sent the participants (team) to participate in the Olympiad.

The IAPD may establish prizes awarded to the winners in each nomination in the amount, as well as by the decision of the IAPD, to individual participants of the Olympiad.

The scientific and pedagogical workers of educational organizations who have prepared the winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad in individual and team standings are awarded with Diplomas by the decision of the organizing committee of the Olympiad.

To participate in the Olympiad, you must submit an application to the organizing committee by November 20, 2021. Until November 20, 2021, it is also necessary to submit to the organizing committee a scientific abstract prepared on the basis of the list of recommended topics below.

The volume of the abstract is not more than twenty pages (in the text editor Word for Windows (versions 6.0, 7.0). The file identifier (name) must consist of 7 - 8 first letters of the surname, author, file name extension doc, rtf; typeface Times New Roman; size font 14, line-to-line; spacing 1.5). Footnotes to the text sources used in writing the abstracts - page-by-page, one line spacing, using the “Times New Roman” font, font size 14).

The structure of the scientific abstract includes the title page, the content of the work, introduction, paragraphs, conclusion and bibliography, appendices (if necessary).

The title page of a scientific abstract indicates:

- full name of the educational organization of higher education,

- the name of the Olympiad;

- type of work (scientific abstract);

- the topic of the scientific abstract;

- information about the participant who completed the scientific abstract (surname, name, patronymic);

- information about the supervisor (surname, name, patronymic, academic degree, academic title).
