By commandment, by Christ
All Orthodox people live
We are ready to turn the cheek
When in disbelief they beat us
Though giving change is a holy thing
For an eye - an eye, a tooth - for a tooth
By faith, we are easy and bold
We forgive everyone and the enemy is our friend!
Forgiveness is the Road to God
Not everyone is given it.
But only to those who are gradually
It rises along it, but where?
Where there is no vice at all
No black thoughts and no sin
No envy, no evil, no anger
Oh God, how to get there?
Do not overpower the other way
It’s just not obvious to them
To others - do not overpower yourself
Never overpower!
And only the one to whom Forgiveness
Truly enter into consciousness
Receive the highest insight
And until the end of the Creator will understand
Only the one who understands
That mercy is a hundred times sweeter
He will be able to forgive his enemies
(They don’t know what they are doing) ...
According to our Orthodox faith
Been keeping us safe
And by decree above this
Please forgive me, forgive me!
I'm sorry if I offended you
I'm sorry if I rebuked the word
Probably did not know, did not see
He did not know what he was doing ...
And so is the pain in my heart
What a burden to me
I forgive you as before
Why am I there, God will forgive everything!
Forgive all our sins
Generous is our Lord
And He will give us Faith for salvation
Having strengthened both the spirit and the flesh ...
No wonder this Sunday
In the churches they will beat the bells
May All Be Forgiveness from All
And God is with us for all ages!
