Re: Article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (dog hunters)
Good day!
I apologize for the appeal - we have a case with a cat.
On Sunday, March 18, my parents shot a cat ........... with a shot ..... in broad daylight ......
after the shot he lived less than a day ....
Documents were collected by the police - a certificate from the veterinarian about the cause of death, an application to institute criminal proceedings under Article 245 of the Criminal Code, Article 167 of the Criminal Code, Article 213 of the Criminal Code and Art. 20.13 Code of Administrative Offenses. (thanks to the forum)
At the place where the cat was shot, they found 4 grains, about 8 more grains - it contains an X-ray.
Presumably, a neighbor shot (parents live in a private house in the Moscow region), and everyone in the district heard that he was shooting. The neighbor definitely has a gun, I will seek examination (if this, of course, can be achieved). We have already shot the same cat, there is an X-ray from previous shots, the cat was mutilated, but survived. The neighbors also lose cats, and this is already our fourth ......... They just didn’t find them before, and thought that they were gone ..... And this time the cat crawled home ...
I intend to bring the case to court and punish the guilty party at all costs, though there is no experience of going to court, etc.
If the forum users have information on how to behave in such a situation, I would be very grateful ...
And also if you can advise - from what approximately distance a shot from a gun can be made so that there is so much shot in the cat, and the expansion of the grains on the ground is small (about 20-30 cm). Is it possible to find out that the fraction (which is located with us) was used in this particular gun?
I will try to do my best to prove the guilt of this non-human.
Sorry for contacting ............. Thank you!
Respectfully,
Eugene
