Federal Law of 05.12.2017 N 391-ФЗ
"On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation"

A law has been signed aimed at improving the legal regulation in the field of private detective activity, the circulation of weapons of cultural value, and the control shooting of civil and service rifles

Federal law, in particular:

- Rosguard has been given the authority to license and control the activities of private detectives;

- clarified the rules on the state examination of weapons of cultural value, copies of ancient (antique) weapons and replicas of ancient (antique) weapons;

- the rules governing the acquisition, collection, accounting, storage, transportation and transportation of weapons of cultural value, as well as antique (antique) weapons and copies of ancient (antique) weapons and their replicas, are specified;

- Rosguard officials are empowered to consider cases of administrative offenses in the field of compliance with the requirements of the Russian legislation on weapons, private detective and security activities.

Federal law will enter into force on January 1, 2018.
